Edward J. Dodson worked in the community lending and redevelopment field for over 30 years, until his retirement early in 2005 from Fannie Mae, where he held several management-level positions in the Housing & Community Development group based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 1984, he managed the residential mortgage loan program for a large regional bank.
Ed has been an instructor of political economy at the Henry George School of Social Science since 1981. In 1997 he established an internet-based education and research project called the School of Cooperative Individualism. He has written extensively on social, political and economic issues for a variety of publications. Ed is a graduate of Shippensburg and Temple Universities in Pennsylvania.
